Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common form of skin cancer. SCC’s grow much faster than a BCC and may spread throughout the body, particularly if left untreated.

They normally appear as a thickened red, scaly spot or sudden onset of a painful lump that may later bleed easily or ulcerate. SCCs mainly develop on areas of the body that are exposed to ultraviolet radiation.
