Dr Jang graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2001.

Subsequent to this, she has achieved numerous medical awards and accolades. In 2005, Dr Jang obtained a Diploma of Child Health and was awarded a Master of Medicine for her research in the immunogenetics of atopic dermatitis in 2006. She has also received the President’s Medal for Pharmacology in 2007 and the Ken Paver Medal for excellence in the Clinical Sciences Examination 2007.
